IMPORTANT — AutoCAD 2002 should not be installed with AutoCAD 2000 or 2000i because it will upgrade these versions. AutoCAD 2002 can be installed with AutoCAD Release 14 and earlier versions, as well as any AutoCAD -based product.

If you are upgrading on a Windows 98 or ME system, uninstall AutoCAD 2000i BEFORE installing AutoCAD 2002. If you do not, the Add/Remove Programs list will have an entry for AutoCAD 2000i. Using the Add/Remove option to uninstall AutoCAD 2000i after upgrade will remove files needed by AutoCAD 2002, requiring reinstallation.
